This general information is necessary to technically enable us to present the website content correctly and is unavoidable when using the internet. As other websites do as well, we also use so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small text files that will be transmitted to your hard-drive from a website-server. This enables us to receive information like your IP-address, web browser, operating system, computer and your connection to the internet. Cookies cannot be used to start programs or distribute viruses to a computer. The information saved in the cookies helps us to optimize your navigation and display website contents correctly.

Löschung bzw. Sperrung der Daten

We are committed to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We only store your personal data for as long as needed for the given reasons above or for as long as we are legally obliged. If these reasons are not valid any more or the statutory period no longer applies, the data is blocked or deleted routinely according to the legal requirements.

Usage of script data bases (Google Webfonts)

To be able to display our contents correctly and graphically appealing, we use script data bases and fonts libraries e.g. Google Webfonts ( Google Webfonts are transmitted to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple downloads. In case your web browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, contents will be displayed in a standard font.
Using script data bases and font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the provider. During this it could theoretically be possible for the provider to store data – though it is currently not clear if and to what purpose. Here you can find the privacy policy of the library provider Google:

Google Maps

This website uses Goolge Maps API in order to display geographic information. When using Google Maps Google also stores, processes and uses the data. For more information about Google´s data processing see Google´s privacy policy. In their data security center you are also able to change your personal data protection settings.
You can find detailed instructions to administrate your data associated with Google products here.

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our sites we have embedded YouTube videos. Provider of the according plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When visiting a site with the YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established. During this YouTube is informed about which site you are visiting. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube is able to associate your surfing habits to you personally. If you do not wish for this to happen, you can avoid it by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is played, the provider uses cookies that collect indications about the user´s behavior.

In case you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google-Ad-program, you will also not have to expect cookies when watching YouTube videos either. YouTube uses other cookies for non-personal data though. To avoid this you need to block cookies in your browser.
